According to these links, the RH&DR accepts some ITSO cards. Do they have any readers at their stations?

From the second link -

22. Where the vehicle providing a bus service is equipped with a ticket machine capable of recording journey transactions electronically by virtue of communication with the Pass, the Pass must be recorded electronically. Any Pass which is not capable of being recorded in this way must be replaced at the earliest opportunity.

This suggests that the pass must also be human readable for those operators without such a ticket machine so I wouldn't read anything into the list of operators that accept it.

The RH&DR provides school transport and as such accepts the passes issued by KCC for school travel. I doubt that there is any requirement for them to read the cards at this stage.
