I knew my comment would be controversial
On a hybrid I don't have to sit with my knees round my neck....haven't been on an ex London that I can actually sit comfortably on and the ones I have been on got bounced about like being on a trampoline.
My comments are based on my personal...
/Start rant/
:frown: aye and Longstone gets all the dregs of the fleet (aka the Ex-London tin buckets) in place of their B5LH's - not a good switch at all the seat spacing on those ex-London's are absolutely shocking and not a comfortable ride either - in fact, I'd say you get a far better ride...
Here here!
However, I fear that you would get 3 buses together every 20-30 minutes, rather than one bus every 10 minutes
Even just now you always seem to end up with 2 together at some point
(I use the 3 regularly from Newington to Sighthill at various times from 1pm to 5pm Saturday to...
....maybe we need to return to days of fare stages? - then it doesn't matter about east/west/city zones....
Could have Lothian City, ECB and LC running on the same fare stage structure
Just a thought...
I remember a good few years ago coming back from Glasgow and there was that many people waiting for the 900 that a second coach was put on, both left Glasgow full and there was *still* people waiting (it was summer time, don't recall there being any issues with trains either)
I always pick the...

Pre-Covid there was local and network maps, however Stagecoach seem to removed the majority of local maps and network maps (Presumably due to all the cancellations/network reductions etc during 2020/21) from pretty much all operating areas now, generally only maps you get are megarider and fare...
Hang on, let me get my crystal ball
But seriously, not sure if anyone will be allowed to say yet or indeed how far in advance they are told.
Not the first time I've been in a job and the people outside the company knew things before the employees were told...
I used the 300 regularly pre-pandemic...
my observations were around peak holiday times it was well used in general for the guest houses around Newington area and locals from Newington & Southside to Airport.
Between Chesser and Airport it was mainly Air Crews and workers I saw Airport bound...
I was on a 3 a week or so ago that after the driver change at Parkhead, he was told to go off service at Clovenstone, run to South Bridge, then resume service from there to Mayfield, the bus was *that* late.
Been on a couple that were going full route to Clovenstone when I boarded and got...
I've noticed it as well...
I was thinking that it could be a combination of:
~ bus running so late it's going off service and resuming service somewhere else
~ no driver available to take over bus (due to any number of issues)
