I think that the words "road building" send a wave of mass panic across Surrey residents, certainly a larger one than you would find in Hampshire.
Perhaps that has had an effect on how long it'd take to build the access road?
The signaller seriously thought he knew more about the train than the guy sat at the front of it?
Was the "discussion" comprised of you saying "Hang on, let me go out and count"?
This would never have happened on BR! Privatisation has caused all this trouble, so we shouldn't work until it is made safe!
Oh wait. Wrong type of strike.
I saw these parked up at Wimbledon on Saturday next to each other - I was expecting to see them joined, if they were publicly visible at all for some reason
They don't look anything like as bad as people are making out, to me.
Will they get rid of the creepy creepy Portsmouth City Council bus adverts?
I thought I saw the last of those things years back, went to take a train from Bristol, and there they are!
That's a completely different route than I'd normally use (using the Portsmouth-Cardiff train for the bulk of it)
Walk on with the 3 splits comes down to ~£35.
Would we ever see a basic multisplit on MSE?
If I go from A to B, and there's a split at C, have a check of AC and CB to see if...
I put in Havant to Bristol, and it came back with nothing.
I know that on a return, you can do some epic splitting and trim off a fiver.
Havant - Romsey - Salisbury - Trowbridge - Bristol
I think even with one of those splits in it works out cheaper.
I put in Salisbury - Bristol, and...
I'm sure I've seen ticket barriers with 2d readers on them (for e-tickets perhaps). Maybe it's to let you scan a ticket as well as insert them
Also, those aren't QR codes. I think that they are Aztec.
Doesn't that then affect the timings everywhere else by not having the stop?
I'm guessing that being a late train, it running 5 minutes "early" from Nuneaton isn't going to clash with other pathing?
Didn't I read somewhere here that some VT services get guard-dispatched at some stations? Is...
9S96 from St Pancras to Temple Mills should be put to bed just before 1X01 heads out. Hopefully it's running on time.
More fun at Glasgow Central, 5V16 leaves 1 minute after; 0D11 leaves before hand, but would meet 1X01 at Newton if it gets held up by much.
