Hydrogen is dead in railways, a fad of the oil & gas industry.
The far moved advanced in service trains in Germany have been withdrawn due to the painful operating costs & prohibitive costs of the refuelling stations.
The realistic range is also lower than that of a battery train & cannot benefit from OLE / 3rd rail top ups to a sufficient degree
