We then walk over to the Railway station and buy tickets and board the 12:35 XC service to Bournemouth arriving there at 17:10 Thursday Afternoon

We next board the 1235 Stagecoach Manchester service 201 to Godley (Persimmon Estate) that arrives there at 1254 on Thursday afternoon.

Leaving the railway station, we now take the short walk to the bus station where we board the 1926 First in Devon and Cornwall service X80 to Bittaford (opposite to the Horse and Groom) that arrives there at 2011 on Thursday evening.

There doesn't seem to be much onward transport at this time but after a wait of almost four hours we are able to board the 0006 First in Devon & Cornwall X80 bus service to Plymouth Bus Station arriving at 0027 on Friday.

Well a walk to Railway station and we are on the 08:46 XC service to Birmingham New Street arriving there at 13:56 Friday afternoon

We are most certainly in need for a hot meal after that long journey, as we have a similar long onward journey still to make, so after sustaining ourselves royally, we board the 1503 XC service to Dundee that arrives there at 2141 on Friday evening.

We pass some time on the railway station to deliberate upon our next destination and we realise that a certain bus stops outside the railway station, so we walk to that bus stop and board the 0645 Arriva North West service 38 to Lower Heath (Grove Inn) that arrives there at 0731 on Saturday morning.

Just as we leave the station we see a late running Stagecoach Manchester bus depart and so are forced to wait for the 12:05 Stagecoach Manchester 169 service to Ashton Bus Station arriving there at 13:04 Saturday afternoon.

Void move. As I've said I don't mind a short work in order to change modes but this is the same mode and an excessive walk, there is onward transport at the stop you were left.

We leave the railway station and find somewhere to have a mid-day meal before boarding the 1451 Wilts and Dorset service 6 to Southampton (West Quay Shopping Centre) at 1545 on Saturday afternoon.

Just to explain, i googled maps it and it came up as a 15 minute walk.

In this game you must travel from the station or stop where the previous post left you although this may involve a short walk when changing between modes... for example to a bus stop serving a rail station.

I think this short extract from the quiz rules should clarify matters for contestants relatively new to this quiz. The emphasis being a short walk when changing the mode of travel, but not from a bus stop in one part of a settlement to another bus stop on the other side of that settlement.
