We wander around Cambridge for a short while before catching the 12:15 Stagecoach in the Fens the busway B bus from Drummer Street bus station to
Histon
, The Busway, Histon and Impington (N-Bound) (on Guided Busway) to experience the guided busway and decide how much better it may have been as a railway, arriving there at 12:32 on Saturday.

We spend some time pondering this particular mode of travel and wondering if the Leigh Guided Busway in its early stages of project development will share many similarities as that too uses part of a closed railway line. We decide to carry on with the same mode of travel and board the 1307 Cambridgeshire Guided Busway service "B" to Huntingdon bus station that arrives there at 1356 on Saturday afternoon.

We then continue our onward journey by boarding the 1531 Stagecoach in the Fens service 31 to Peterborough (Queensgate bus station) that arrives there at 1630 on Saturday afternoon.

A quick sprint and were on the 16:44 First in Suffolk and Norfolk X1 service to Great yarmouth where the bus becomes the 1, and so we stay on board and get off at Lowestoft (outside Belle Vue Park) arriving at 21:29 Saturday Night

Deciding to stop overnight in order to have a wander over the Halvergate Marshes on Sunday, we find a B&B and get up in time to catch the 08:20 Greater Anglia service from Great Yarmouth station to Berney Arms (remembering to ask the guard to stop) and we arrive there at 08:27 on Sunday morning.

We decide that a nice long Sunday omnibus ride would make a change, so after having a snack and a look along the promenade, we make our way to Market Gates where we board the 1230 First in Norfolk and Suffolk service X1 to Kings Lynn bus station that arrives there at 1444 on Sunday afternoon.
