Not to sure if its still there but I'm pretty certain the Diamond Citaro involved in the incident in Piccadilly Gardens 2 years ago (I think it was) was impounded at The Mansfield Group Trafford Park, maybe that's where 11512 is but I could be wrong.

I presume more Streetdecks be due aswell as more E200MMCs? Unless Bee Network have other ideas for replacements
A replacement order for the remaining "classic"-bodied E400s at Stockport, Hyde Road and Sharston depots can't be far off. The oldest ones will hit the 15-year limit about this time next year, and in any case they don't seem to be doing any work that suggests the plan is to keep them in Manchester much longer - only a couple have been painted yellow, and to my knowledge none have had interior works done, not even the soon-to-be legally required live information system.

If such an order is made, it could displace some more Streetdecks - most obviously the ones currently on the 330 - to head to Wigan, or indeed just include enough new buses to replace the older ones in Wigan directly.

TEH100 has had the interior refurbed to spec, so doubt these are going anywhere pretty soon...

Bearing in mind that GMCA received funding to replace the majority of its diesel fleet with electric vehicles earlier in the year, I'd be very surprised indeed if there were any more diesel orders now.

Indeed I believe Metroline have a program to paint and convert the interiors on pretty much all the classic E400’s. Several that transferred from Stagecoach and have been pretty much long term VOR are having some major works done to bring them back to fleet standard — all at a cost to TFGM so I wouldn’t expect them to be replaced in the near future.
Also worth remembering that several of the classic E400’s were painted and converted last year at Queens road and now reside at Oldham, intentionally for schools but all seem to be out every day on regular service work.

Presumably this includes 12251 (which would become TEH187)?

I recall seeing a document that was shared here that said there would have been 170 Volvo BZL and 12 if the BZL Midi versions, originally all planned for Stagecoach had Stockport been electrified

The 12 Midi ones have been accounted for, but by my reckoning there are only 114 BZLs with Metroline leaving 56 unaccounted for?

I think the remainder are for Stagecoach Middleton when they go electric

Maybe they are the examples for Middleton?

Regarding an earlier comment about replacements for the Ultraliners (Streetdecks) on 330 so they got to another Depot I very much doubt this will happen as the Ultraliners were bought specifically for 330 and ruling states that they can only be used on 330 hence why you very rarely if at all see them on any other Stockport route.

Stagecoach chose to restrict them to the 330 because they're full height - they weren’t bought specifically for it, 8 were sent to Stockport in addition to the 50 Enviro 400 City’s (all TFGM purchases).

Are the GNW E400's and classic E200's staying at Wigan or due to be replaced?
It is likely they will be replaced directly or via cascade by the new electrics, however I am not sure an order has been placed yet from the funding received earlier this year. Any order will be competing for build slots with other large orders from Liverpool City Region and West Yorkshire among others so delivery time may be longer than usual too.

I believe the union played a very big part in it. Idea being if they were kept to one route with no low bridges rather than ANY route it would massively reduce the risk of a bridge strike.

Likely for type training as EY are getting some electroliners too, as they are the closest Go Ahead division to have StreetDeck Electroliners, it'll be just like Harrogate giving a red eCitaro to Keighley for their type training of 1021-35

Arnt the electroliners owned by TFGM though?
Would have thought it was a big no no having one away for what many would deem as for ‘commercial activities’.

There is no reason the 330 needs a designated fleet. It never had one under deregulated Stagecoach operation, and I can't think of a comparable arrangement at any other Bee Network depot. Indeed there aren't enough Streetdecks for them to run the weekday 330 service on their own so there are always Enviro 400s on some boards as well.

I don't really understand why Stockport was given those Streetdecks in the first place to be honest. They could easily have gone to Hyde Road or Sharston, where they are standard, in exchange for some more E400s.

That remains to be seen, obviously in the mid term, as they are diesels and the idea is that all diesels will be replaced, for Wright Streetdecks to come you would be waiting for a similar batch to the 10 already shipped in at Metroline to become available, as Wigan hasn't got any electrics or facilities for them, and any such move will be costly as the electric supply in that area probably isn't good enough as it is. In terms of E200MMC's then the same again, cascades from Metroline.

As for Middleton's Solo SR's I think their off elsewhere in Stagecoach empire so not to sure what's planned for 129/415 routes which they are/were used on, mind you recently 129/415 has been in the hands of E200s 36779 & 36780 for some reason.

I have heard/read that 129/415s are being transferred to Oldham Depot but not to sure how true this actually is and whether Oldham Depot have got the vehicles/drivers to operate the route and whether any Oldham Drivers have been route trained, while some of the older remaining drivers at Oldham Depot will know 415 none of them will know 129 route so will need route training on if and when it happens.

I heard the 415/129 are returning to Queens road along with the remaining Solo SR’s.

If this is true what if any thing route wise will Middleton get to replace 129/415s when they get transferred to Queens Road?
