27125/6 made an stop overnight at Stockport before carrying to Stagecoach South West supposedly bound for ExeterNoticed on bustimes that stagecoach east Scotland 27125/6 have been transferred to stockport. Any ideas why?
What vehicles will Middleton be acquiring for electrification BZLs?November i believe
Adding to this, what is the current plan? Are the BZLs initially ordered for Stockport going here? I’m a couple pages behind on thisWhat vehicles will Middleton be acquiring for electrification BZLs?
The remaining ones, yes. Most are with MetrolineAdding to this, what is the current plan? Are the BZLs initially ordered for Stockport going here? I’m a couple pages behind on this
All doublesSpeaking of BZLs, I believe Ashton now has entirely BZLs (84 off the top of my head) - is that entirely double decks or are there some singles as well?
Also does anyone happen to know how many of each type of EV is at Hyde Road?
I can't see them staying long but there are no plans for Tameside (Denton) Depot to be electrifiedHow much longer are the BJ10 Citaros likely to stay?
Find it very hard to believe Oldham were short of buses on a Sunday evening.Rather odd working saw Oldham Depot BZL 66071 perform a return trip on 402 Oldham-Buckstones service last night, looks like Oldham are short of Buses and having compliance problems which has seen some rather odd workings over the past week.
Driver probably just wanted to take one out for a spinFind it very hard to believe Oldham were short of buses on a Sunday evening.
Indeed, I can’t see what’s wrong with a BZL single deck being used on the 402Find it very hard to believe Oldham were short of buses on a Sunday evening.
My understanding is the BZL’s are Queens road buses for the free buses and only get charged at Oldham.Indeed, I can’t see what’s wrong with a BZL single deck being used on the 402
They've turned up on the 180 a couple of times in recent weeksMy understanding is the BZL’s are Queens road buses for the free buses and only get charged at Oldham.
Age limits apart, normally if a decker is used on a single decker route there is no issue as it’s deemed as ‘uplift’.Would Oldham get booked for using a BZL single on 402 or does compliance mean that any electric single can be used on the route?
I'd love to know what the ruling is on what can be used on various routes, for example I live on 181/182 route and if compliance means the route has to be operated by E300s which most duties are I know that there's one duty in the evening that comes off a 81 which in return does one trip first thing in the morning on 82 so has to be a decker usually a hybrid B5 decker from what I can gather.
Also is it compliant for Queens Road to use a decker on 480s or is the route meant to be booked singles?
So say if the 348 uses an E300 instead of an E400 MMC/B5LH it will get finedAge limits apart, normally if a decker is used on a single decker route there is no issue as it’s deemed as ‘uplift’.
If a single is used on a route that’s required to be a decker then obviously it’s a fine.
If the board stipulates a D/D hybrid and a single is used then yes.So say if the 348 uses an E300 instead of an E400 MMC/B5LH it will get fined
Or even a 69 plate MMC would be fine or the occasional 08/09 plate tridentIf the board stipulates a D/D hybrid and a single is used then yes.
Obviously if a 24 plate MMC was used or an electric decker then there would be no issue.
I’d imagine they are either away for painting and interior conversion or are off the road with engine/hybrid issues.does anyone know what happened to 13163 and 13165
They aren't getting painted because it would be a waste of money for around a year of service, so it's more likely being repaired as they are unreliable, and Oldham doesn't have any replacements (yet)I’d imagine they are either away for painting and interior conversion or are off the road with engine/hybrid issues.
I was behind one of the ex First/GNW B5’s yesterday in Ashton and it sounded extremely rough.
Given they both seem to have come off the road on the 31/8 I’d suggest paint and conversion, although why TFGM insists on spending money on these sheds is beyond me.
I think the 24 plate MMCs from Middleton will replace them once their depot is electric which would be a huge upgrade for services like the 350/348 etc as the B5s are woefully unreliable I don't even know why TFGM even considered these busesThey aren't getting painted because it would be a waste of money for around a year of service, so it's more likely being repaired as they are unreliable, and Oldham doesn't have any replacements (yet)
Hopefully the B5s go first but it does leave older e400s still goingI think the 24 plate MMCs from Middleton will replace them once their depot is electric which would be a huge upgrade for services like the 350/348 etc as the B5s are woefully unreliable I don't even know why TFGM even considered these buses
Or maybe some of Queens roads 24 plates also come as well i'm not sureHopefully the B5s go first but it does leave older e400s still going
Hang on…They aren't getting painted because it would be a waste of money for around a year of service, so it's more likely being repaired as they are unreliable, and Oldham doesn't have any replacements (yet)
Because they were hoodwinked into believing they were decent buses along with the B9’s and Scania’s.I think the 24 plate MMCs from Middleton will replace them once their depot is electric which would be a huge upgrade for services like the 350/348 etc as the B5s are woefully unreliable I don't even know why TFGM even considered these buses
