It's prob more likely 26172 developed a fault this morning so 26255 being a 350 bus went on 350's

26172 when fixed just got used on anything that needed covering hence locals on 4/6

Prob same reason 26173 ended up on 111 apparently yesterday

A mate of mine (ex colleague) works there and said that's what happened
Ah, can 26173 get another fault so it can land on the 4/6 now its the only one I need? Lol joking but ty for the info

Saw 24197 today, in new livery
No idea why we are still repainting these things.

Out of interest how did Hull cope with Storm Army today? In particular were the FastCat (250/350) services affected in anyway due to any speed restrictions on Humber Bridge?

Im not sure about the 350. But i know that the 250 coped fine, it just shows how much single deckers help in circumstances like this

It’s the end of Stagecoach Specialist livery with East Midlands as 24195 has returned to service today in We’ve got you livery.

Heard that 26262 is transferring to GY from Mansfield, this will mean that all but one (26255) of the 19 plate 200MMCs are now based in GY.

Edit - 26263 and 26272 are also at Mansfield - apologies my post is incorrect

The YW19 E200MMCs are for the 53 which crosses into Sheffield. The clean air zone requires Euro6 vehicles.

This means if one of the E200MMCs is off the road, they'll have to allocate an E400MMC or pay the fine for taking in a non-compliant vehicle

26262/3 are on Mansfield 53 today. 26272 is tracking on Mansfield 1, but also DD school run 345 according to Bustimes. I guess 345 is a rogue plot. 53 is a regular haunt for these three vehicles, though occasionally to be seen elsewhere, such as Mansfield 141 in place of 64 plate E200s.

I hadn‘t thought about the Sheffield clean air zone. I had wondered why these buses were always on the 53 and rarely ran elsewhere from Mansfield. I was quite surprised to see one on the 141 a few weeks ago.
The 141 has been almost exclusively run using E300s since the timetable was revised in February. Before that it was E200s.

The new timetable on the 141 has solved the problem of regular very late running at peak times and most buses on the route are now operating on time. However, the extended journey times has made the route very tedious for regular travellers at off peak times including all day Saturday. The diversion north of Hucknall to the new County Council Offices, including a wait of up 10 minutes, is a complete waste of time. I have never seen anyone get on or off the bus at that location, yet those of us from the villages between Mansfield and Hucknall now have around 15 minutes added to what was already a long journey into Hucknall or Nottingham.

It's always been fun to see the plethora of near life-expired vehicles on the 53A at night time; the Halfway terminus negates the need for Euro6 vehicles due to not entering the city centre.

There is no doubt that the 141 needed added time whatever, and that meant an extra bus. The trouble is that the end points preclude absorbing time through layover or extension there, whilst to split the route at Mansfield and build there spare time into inter-working would break the link across town to Kings Mill hospital an emotionally sensitive issue. I reckon that after justified extended running time there is still about 20 minutes slack each way. Extended recovery at Sutton, Mansfield and Nottingham takes up some of this, but the rest has to be taken en route. Whilst the NCC offices is not a welcoming place to wait, it is at least safe and non-obstructive. NCC does of course fund the route and has every right to make such decisions irrespective of the consequences. They are now starting to build a very large number of houses there and for once there will be a bus route ready and waiting for new occupiers as they move in. I think we have to face that the 141 could not reliably run with four buses, but is not long enough to fully occupy five, and with no easy way to absorb all the slack sensibly.

26262/3/72 have been at Mansfield for years iirc
Also, 22758 isn't withdrawn so whoever said it was is wrong, its on the 4 today
Also, 11685 is repainted into we've got you, I saw it (but I didnt bring my phone cos I didn't have a suitable place to take a photo that would have been of any good quality)

I saw this picture on Facebook of a Enviro400EV in We’ve got you livery which is the first time I have seen a Enviro400EV in this livery. This one is due for East Midlands as it contains East Midlands legal lettering on the side. The poster on Facebook put it was for Lincoln but this isn’t correct and is it actually for Hull or Mansfield. The only strange thing thing is that from the list I had seen 80318 was originally for Northampton but maybe there was been some changes in fleet numbers for certain depots.

Hull's are meant to be 80294 to 80312, so unless theres been changes to the numbers, 80318 is closest to 80312, likely for Hull

Guess we have enough on our plate with having to repaint the 2 year old 73 plate MMCs, and the people didnt wanna have to repaint brand new E400EVs too

Also wasn't Hull's meant to be SN75, not YX75?

Seeing the post on comments he does say it’s because the legals show as Lincoln, but doesn’t all east mids vehicles show as Lincoln?

It will be a Mansfield bus, since most buses that tend to be for "lincoln" tend to be for Mansfield . I don't know why Stagecoach does that, but it is a Mansfield bus. The Enviro100EV ( maybe ) is also most likely to be sent to Mansfield.IMG_1318.png
