It's a fiver according to some of their replies to folks on Twitter.Anyone any idea how much the "Great value weekday first upgrade" is?

Anyone know how many 385s have been fitted with the modified windshields? The only units I have confirmed are 385104 and 385005.
I am sure it is. Will also be interesting to see if any compensation is paid given the other issues around the late infrastructure. That’s commercially sensitive.
Does E-G need first class? It’s (roughly) a 50 min commuting line, I’d rather the extra seats
And I'd rather have ScotRail put some wheelchair accessibility into First class (there's a total of zero wheelchair spaces in the current fleet) - but, it isn't happening. First class is there because people will pay for it, if it wasn't making money at some stage it'd get removed since it's hardly in anyone's interest to be carting around a fresh air cabin for most of the day.Does E-G need first class? I would rather they got some of the Edinburgh park services fixed before bothering about FC. Stopping some of the Falkirk high services (which most times when I go to haymarket have plenty capacity) at Edinburgh park would help remove some of the strain on allow service. Those overcrowded unventilated 158s are torture most nights. And I'd rather have ScotRail put some wheelchair accessibility into First class (there's a total of zero wheelchair spaces in the current fleet) - but, it isn't happening. I'm with you on Edinburgh Park, it is a useful station.I would rather they got some of the Edinburgh park services fixed before bothering about FC. agreed but a stop would have an adverse impact on overall journey time, which was the main driver behind improvements to the flagship E&G route.I'm with you on Edinburgh Park, it is a useful station.
Also agreed, however, with creative thinking it could be possible at some stage. In any case, we're perhaps veering off topic again…agreed but a stop would have an adverse impact on overall journey time, which was the main driver behind improvements to the flagship E&G route.
the performance of the 385s ought to make light of the additional stop. On the end to end journey time, is the aspiration for all journeys to be 42 minutes or less? Most, but not all. The timetablers have work to do to fit in this stop. Also agreed, however, with creative thinking it could be possible at some stage. In any case, we're perhaps veering off topic again…
As per my post last week it has been confirmed today that there will be 2x 4 car 385s in passenger service from Monday 23rd July.
