That would appear to be an interior of one of the half-timbered Tavern Cars designed, I think, by Mr Bulleid.

Some further info: In 1947 some Maunsell restaurant cars were modified to provide a buffet area for drinks and snacks. These inspired Bulleid to design Tavern Cars in 1949, complete with imitation brickwork and wooden beams externally at one end of the carriage. The other end contained a restaurant section with seats back to the carriage sides facing inwards and only had ventilator windows at the top of the sides. This was to make passengers concentrate on eating rather than watching the view, thus speeding up service and throughput. It meant, however, that passengers couldn't see where they were. Consequently they weren't popular and soon modified. The cars were given pub-style names.
Open floor, btw!
