They still have to visit North for routine maintenance/exams aswell as defect repairs when required. Worth noting just because a unit looks to be behaving doesn't mean faults havnt been reported!

From what I’ve seen, all are still running apart from the 16:51 out of hunts cross which sits at Southport for driver training until 20:42

507016 is out on the New Brighton line again today following another 'tram' giving up the ghost. It is currently in charge of the 17.08 New Brighton circular and this time it is running a late diagram too.

Edit: it is being subbed off for the late part of the diagram by the 777 behind it, so 016 just worked the 16.08, 17.08 and 18.08 circuits today.

Both now working 2W46 1751 from West Kirby.

The six-car set failed on the approach to James Street whilst forming the 17.51 and had to reverse back to Hamilton Square where it was taken out of service. Appeared to be a loss of power in 029's 64433 carriage; 016 not guilty for once!

The driver left power on into Hamilton Square whilst braking and overheated the resistor grids, presumably too used to using the combined power/brake on a 777

It's not out of service, it's just a spare and is being utilised. Only 6 of the 9 remaining 507s are required for booked work.
