Yes, appears to have just left Liverpool Central showing as 2W24.

Update: looks to be turning back at Birkenhead North to pick-up the 2W29 working, possibly back to West Kirby at 1422 (don't think services have resumed to Liverpool yet).

They’ve just let us onto the Wirral Line platforms at Moorfields, so things are presumably getting moving again.

507003 has stayed out all day in fact and is currently in charge of the 21.31 from West Kirby. A very enjoyable ride, too.

507016 also remains stabled at West Kirby, in number two siding tonight.

507003 worked a few West Kirby runs this morning. It's just been swapped out for 777005 at West Kirby Station.
507003 now running ECS to Sandhills then possibly ECS to Southport.

Three further units are to be stood down at the end of August. Specific units unknown at this time, but has been confirmed on the Mersey Railways 2.0 Facebook group.

Interesting on that post that 001 hasn’t been ruled out as being withdrawn. Fingers crossed it makes the cut or stored for the tour

507001 won't be withdrawn barring a major fault. It was the antepenultimate 507 to be overhauled and has years of time left if necessary. However, this would be a good opportunity to get rid of 507016 and 023 as those two are often troublesome.

The remaining six 507s are to continue to December from what I've heard which is good news.

Over on the Mersey Railways FB group it is suggested that this will be Wirral Lines only (including a cross river trip), starting and finishing at Hooton. Hopefully a separate Northern Line tour later on.
