Good, that confirms that 202 / 216 are staying, with potential for 212 to be staying as well once rebuilt with a new lav & conversion to 52xxx car.

Interesting to note that, like the Class 150/0s, the front door by the cab is in green, rather than silver as it is on the rest.
It's not the only class they do that on. It's done primarily to disguise it to the passengers, ie that this is not a door for public use.

Except on a /2 coupled to another gangwayed unit it is a passenger door! Not a common use case, though, and probably a sensible move.

It's a bit of an odd one, and another little anomaly on the FGW Fleet. All the Wessex, Local Lines & first versions of the Plain Blue 150/2s had the crew door painted in the same livery as the bodyside to as you say, distinguish it from being a standard passenger door.
Then, in the last round of repaints in FGW Blue, the crew door started to be painted Rubine Red to match the passenger saloon doors. This seems to have continued through the First GWR Repaints - Oddly stopping on this unit.
I went on a refurbed 166 the other night from Reading to Paddington and noticed lots of the seat backs weren't attached to the seats itself. Is this a common problem on the fleet what have been refurbished?

Dunno but I'm pretty sure this one I was on yesterday is somewhat in need of an interior Refurb!
If memory still serves I think it was either 165130 or 118.

I can certainly confirm this is an issue with 166205 (the one with the interior refurb) - the cushions are slightly smaller and slightly less square.
As for the HST, it was holding up well last time I used it, though that was last year.
that's bad! someone said tables are being ripped off walls too?
With northern forming up 3car 150s and I believe taking the toilet out the centre cars would it not be logical to swap those 2 coaches with a 2car northern 150/2 to save 1 vehicle having to have a toilet fitted while others are taken out. I know they've got to have new ones anyway but must still be quite a lot of plumbing and pipework missing on a non toilet car
The present toilets have all got to be ripped out and replaced with new ones and CET Tanks to comply with PRM Regulations.

Carriages 212 and 209 have been fitted with wifi so I'd assume they're staying. I wish they'd change the seating and add tables in though - that applies to 150202 and 150216 as well!

There must be a period beyond which this doesn't apply. Otherwise no- one could ever change anything.
Presumably seats had to be altered to put the PSVAR bog in.

Good, I reckon that confirms 212 then as a future GWR 150/2 again then.
Not quite as such sadly, as both the prototype 150/0s, Northerns 150s and the 319s have shown. They just take out a few of the double rows leaving singular seats, along with a random facing seat as well.
I'd like to hope that one day they'll be brought up to standard though to match the Ex Wessex /2s, otherwise it'll remain a little disappointing to see those to remain as such. There must be enough of those Chapman seats out there In storage!
I think Trenitalia's regional fleet of coaches would be in contention for that title. Never seen a country with such a graffiti problem.I've never known a fleet of trains (and therefore their passengers) to have been treated with such disdain by their operator.

It certainly seems as if the 166 fleet has been completely abandoned as far as any attempt at passenger information/uniformity is concerned. What a shambles. To those who (and they will) insist that the priority is to keep the trains running; I say - employ people who can spot the huge number of quality control issues and correct them, given that the 'right first time' mantra clearly doesn't exist at GWR, despite their very high profile livery/corporate identity re-launch!
'Broken record' it may be, but the current position with the 166s is diabolical. I've never known a fleet of trains (and therefore their passengers) to have been treated with such disdain by their operator.
