Does anyone know what day and which boat 99007 arrived at Portbury on please? The boats name and/or the IMO (International Maritime Organisation) 7 digit number would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the answer to this question please? From what I've been able to search across the internet so far, no one seems to know the answer!

Current Class 99 locations are the same as posts #1508 and #1509. Nothing has changed since then apart from the arrival of 99007.

MBEL is the loco pool: PBOROSDGB is probably Peterborough Depot, GBRf. The odd letters reflect the status, but I can't quote what they all are, expect "N" is normal and I think letters like "A" or "B" are Exams. Most of the location abbreviations can be worked out (like LESTER or PBORO) but I must say, some are a bit onscure !

It's been previously known about the Britannic Explorer going over to 99s but I now assume from that, that the Royal Scotsman will also go over to 99s as well?

Looking ahead at the ten ETS equipped Class 99s (99021 to 99030) being constructed for use by GBRf, it is planned (this will be dependent on contractual things in play at the moment) for six of these to be delivered in Belmond livery. This will allow for the Class to be deployed to both the Belmond Britannic Explorer and Belmond British Pullman operations, the latter currently operated by DBC with Class 67s.

How many trains do Belmond run they can justify 6 painted locomotives? Is it known if they will be dedicated to Belmond trains (which presumably isn't a very high utilisation rate, but if that's what Belmond want to pay for...) or general use in between Belmond workings?

Royal Scotsman sometimes uses 2, then there is the Brittanic Explorer which uses 2.
I don't think 6 locos which will need painting anyway as brand new is excessive.
And no probably not dedicated, ie Royal Scotsman 66s seen on freight trains frequently

New test paths for GBRF added all next week with headcode 4Qxx going between peterborough and doncaster, possibly top and tail class 99s because they are pathed into the station with a turn around time of 10 minutes, im pretty sure at least, they are going on both ECML and Via Lincoln line at both day and night from tuesday, it is very possible ita something else entirely but im not sure what else would use both 4 and Q in headcode, we need more info because the loco that gets the wagons at march has headcode 0Z37 not 0Q37 which might suggest its not 99s, im not sure but these paths are really confusing me

Thank you @Dood75 - assuming that's correct that means it must have been another boat and not Oregon Highway, as the earliest picture I've seen of 99007 at Portbury was on the 28th.

I find it strange that this time no one knows the name of the boat it arrived on and there haven't been any pictures of 99007 with the boat in the docks when on the other occasions there were. Maybe it's because it was delivered on its own.

If anyone does find out what boat 99007 arrived at Portbury on (and what date it arrived) please let me know.

Not sure the angle of the question?
Usually a subclass is used to denote / differentiate between a different spec vehicle for operational ease in identificaton and correct allocation to trains.

It makes sense to number an ETH equiped class 99 into a subclas such as a 99/1 but nothing stopping them being made a /4.

Well i guess the subclass may depend on whether numbers have been used already for another type.
