I've had confirmation that is indeed operated by Northern (as they'll accept my pass on it).

It is supposed to be running for 6 weeks so that makes the end date the 17th Feb.

As Monday draws closer my excitement levels are mounting about my first (and hopefully not only) trip on the Glo-Ex :)

Looking forward to Friday as well - although the early start won't go down well. You just getting in the evening bit? Probably be hard to get the morning one in from Shipley I bet.

Just the evening bit. A colleague and I have a meeting in Penrith so we're going on it afterwards.

I hope it is still a 37 by Friday, although not looking forward to the drive across.

Also, apparently there is snow forecast as well...

37423 was absolutely glo-rious on this evening's working gents. The driver was thoroughly wound up and gave his all on every start up. My lords!

Major delays today, object on the line. The southbound unit to get to Sellafield was over 2 hours late. Thank God I wasn't going over there today.

47810 to work 2T21 this evening. 37087 failed on 6C51 earlier on today so 37423 was used to rescue that. 37409 is at Crewe for a saloon job.

How come i wasnt there? Last time I checked, Kent to Sellafield in less than zero minutes wasnt possible!!!

Why would I want to ask a cutlery expert about 47s? Doesnt quite make sense to me.
