Just been looking at this seasons' batting averages in County Championship matches for Lancashire. With three notable exceptions, it did not make good reading.

They're hoping it will turn (at last!). It's also now being suggested that the 3rd test may also be moved to Multan - the England supporters will have run out of sightseeing options by then!

England 239-6 at the close, 127 runs behind. Three quick wickets (224-4 Duckett, 225-5 Brook, 225-6 Stokes) ran through the middle order after Duckett had got a century. Particularly disappointing that Brook and Stokes only got 10 runs between them. Looks like Pakistan will be happier at that, but this England team should never be written off.

I think you mean 239-6, with all the top six in the batting order dismissed. Both Brook and Stokes were bowled, adding only ten runs between them.
Thanks to a 20 plus by Leach, they reached 291 all out

After the first day in the Test Match between India and New Zealand was washed out by rain, India chose to bat first and lived to regret that decision, being 46 all out, one of the lowest innings scores in Test Match cricket.

In the third Test Match, England had a good opportunity to take a first innings lead, when Pakistan were 177-7 in reply to the England first innings total of 267 all out, but the last three Pakistan wickets added the rather amazing figure of 167 runs to take them to 344 all out.
England have started their second innings and Duckett was dismissed in the 5th over, Crawley in the 6th over and Pope soon afterwards and after nine overs, England were 24-3.

Ollie Pope batting @ 3 showed his worth again, being out for 1 in the second innings to go with the 3 he got in the first.
In the series he scored 0, 29, 22, 3 & 1 giving him an average of 11.
I bet the Aussies are really trembling under their Baggy greens!

England were hammered by the West Indies yesterday evening by 8 wickets, in the first one day International of the current series. They were all out for 209 in 45.1 overs, with the West Indies making 157-2 under DLS with quite a few overs to spare.

One notable performance by opener Evin Lewis with 94 from 69 balls with 8 x 6 and 5 x 4 made sure that West Indies reply was on track.

Has anyone else been trying to follow the Talksport 2 commentary on the second ODI? I'm not sure whether the problem is with my radio reception or with the link from the Caribbean, but I've tried all three of my DAB+ radios and it's basically unlistenable, endless dropouts and distortions. I've gone back to reading the BBC text stream instead.
(Edited to add): England chased down 329 to win with 15 balls and 5 wickets to spare. Half centuries from Salt, Bethell and Curran and an unbeaten century plus from stand-in captain Livingstone. I just wish I'd been able to listen to it

The first day of the Test Match between Australia and India saw no less than 17 wickets falling. Two notable bowling performances.

Day 2 of the Test Match saw Bumrah dismiss Carey with his first ball of the day and the Australian 1st innings batting debacle continued, with them being all out for 104 (51.2 overs)
Bumrah had the excellant innings bowling return of 18 - 6 - 30 - 5
India's opening pair in their second innings built a good platform and after 57 overs, were 172-0.
