Not unless theyve put them back in service in the last 90 minutes.
707004/707005 has re-entered service on 1828 Waterloo-Windsor.

Yep, it arrived empty into WAT. I'm on it now, the seats appear narrow compared to the 458/5 (more like the 450). The load displays seem to need some calibration as it is full and standing but the displays say a few seats available. Closing the doors appears to take a while so we are losing a minute at each station, but the ride is pretty smooth and the air-con is coping.

Ah so 006 was the offender then. Wonder what it was. Doors or brakes I'm guessing.
Will any of these trains run during the off-peak at all?
There are no night test runs until Friday this week . Lots of pathways are registered, but only activated if required.RTT Shows that they are doing tests throughout the night between Barnes and Reading until 4
Are they still running today?
They are at the moment, albeit only 1 diagram but they're doing Waterloo to Windsor all day.
Saw 707009 and one other leaving Reading just before 1055 this morning. Can anyone ID the other unit, please?.
Any timings/timetables for that on realtimetrains.com by any chance?
I'll be on the return to London. Wearing a Nike coat and have a crutch if you're on it. Say Hi if you see me.
Out again on a Windsor diagram today - I saw the 07.23 Windsor to Waterloo. Will they stick with this diagram for the rest of the week? Will the Windsors all go to 707 operation before anything else or will Hounslow/ Weybridge services start seeing some soon too?

Just waiting for it at Vauxhall where the PIS claims its cancelled.
Edit: confirmed cancelled due to a fault on the train.
Wrong side AWS failure.

009 was attached to 008 when I saw it earlier.
707 004 + 707 003 worked 18.28 WAT - WNR. Good acceleration, but not right from the off. Cautious stops and longish dwells so gradually lost time to Staines. A few sig checks would have subdued running.
Smelt very new and some pax at least recognised it as a new train. But seats very hard and poor legroom. More suited to Overground than SWR IMHO ..

The braking system is different from the other Desiro stock and takes a little time to get used to. Probably explain why a driver might be a little cautious.
