I hope they get the 80mph interim speed up by the October then, otherwise those trains will get knocked left right and centre once they get to the West Mids.
I reckon the first train out of London to Wrexham and corresponding return will be a Chiltern DMU from early next year.
True, but thats partly W&S's own fault, as they really don't promote themselves for passengers heading north. Agreed the demand is less, but they have to run trains both ways, so why not make the most of it?
Do any current DMUs have a full service restaurant facility?

I thought that VT were installing proper kitchens on the Voyagers they've kept, but judging by their site and the NRE site, it's snacks only for Holyhead pax...
Any further developments on the rolling stock?
All expected to be in place by December 10 if Mr Shooter gets his way, pushing it in my opinion. Also a wodge of cash to be wasted as the platform at Bicester would be put back if a through line is re-instated as also planned.
