I assume it is the same data?
Everyone here...
Thanks all!
I will keep looking and trying to find out where the busiest locations are.
Where do the drax trains run?
I do travel occasionally further north :)
Hi,
I need to photograph a freight train (ideally in the south west) of at least 20 of the same wagons ideally with the same logo on each!
Not asking for much
Any suggestions on where to locate such a beast.
Thanks for any suggestions....
Only Taunton, but it is a last minute booking and so prices are high for peak travel compared to a couple of months later.
I would be going first normally.
Happy to drive part of the way
Need to travel from the south west and be in East London by 9am.
The cost of the Train is silly money.
So I was thinking of driving part of the journey or most and wondering on the best place to switch to the train?
Looking maybe at Reading, but can be almost anywhere into London.
I have...
Careful about taking a sandwich from the first class lounge at Paddington.
I was told that you can't take sandwiches out of the lounge.
No sign to that effect
Thanks. Have a great day

Thanks again.
Final question.
Got the earlier train which is over 15 minutes late. So entitled to a partial refund via GWR
Not really sure how I prove that I was on the train as no tickets have been checked.
Or if I scan out at Paddington will that...
Purchased a flexible return today on GWR (via LNER).
This is a first class open return.
All outbound were the same after 09.30
As the journey is today can one get an earlier train or must I stick with the booked train?
Or can it be changed at the station?
Thanks all.
Looks like it I will need the LU option. But purchase it as a physical ticket and not an e-ticket.
Buying the LU ticket I guess will save a couple of pounds..... as I think it is capped at £5 per person per day in zone 1?
Thanks all.
The conditions say:
If the route shown on the ticket has a + or † symbol then the ticket includes the cost of travelling between certain London Stations (e.g. between Liverpool Street and Paddington) by either London Underground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) or Thameslink services...
About to purchase a flexible open return ticket via LNER website to travel from Somerset to London Terminals that is also valid to any London Rail Terminal accorfin
I understand that I can use this to get from Paddington to London Bridge by tube to save me having to purchase tube tickets.
A...
Thanks - looking on northern rail it says it is 'reservable', but going to book a ticket it says it is free but optional.
So I assume we wil be okay.
Sorry, to be cautious - but hate 'breakig the rules'. LOL
Hi,
We have two tickets booked to go from Lancashire to Essex in first class advanced.
We plan to get the reserved train from MAN to EUS on Virgin, so no change there.
However the two linking trains not really suitable - the first one leaves us with just 10 minutes at MAN, so no...
