Are there any operating restrictions on the Hastings Line south of Tonbridge?I was thinking of Tunbridge Wells where part of the platform is unusable on platform two.
I was just wondering if there are any sources that show historical passenger data along certain routes? The route I am interested in is the old Southeastern route from Ashford to Reading and the major towns aling the route.
I don't use the tube much but when I do it is usually the Bank branch of the Northern Line.
Twice now I have been injured (bruises) caused by the opening passenger door hitting my arm. I have been standing in the boarding area because I am travelling with baggage and have been holding the...
I am trying to find a resource which shows a listing of all the fares available between these two station. About two years ago the only open return from Gatwick to Tonbridge had to be via London and not Redhill.
What has happened with Great Western and their delay repay scheme? I have a valid claim for a journey in December 2016, but they still have not paid.
I keep receiving messages saying that a cheque has been issued but nothing ever arrives.
Who can I escalate my problem to?
When was the last time a route was closed in the UK for a non-weather related reason? With the threatened closure of Redhill [RDH] - Tonbridge [TON] have we briefly returned to the days of Beeching?
I commute regulary between EUS and BHI mostly on pendolinos. The 3G/4G is pretty poor along the route but it seems a whole factor worse in the Voyager I am currently travelling on. Has anybody noticed anything similar? Is the onboard wifi any better? It seems nonsense to have to pay an...
Who sets the policy of which ticket options appear on page one of the ticket machines at Gatwick?
My daughter recently travelled from Gatwick to Tonbridge and page one of the selection only includes options of travelling via London . The shorter and cheaper option of travelling via Redhill...
I am looking for a timetable for all departures from Birmingham international 24/7 365.Primarily it is for services to Euston but also within a radius of one hour's travel from the station.
What exactly does a ticket labelled as London terminals allow you to do on the Underground? I recently bought a ticket London Kings Cross to Tonbridge but the card ticket actually had London terminals printed on it. I went down to the tube to travel to Charing Cross but the ticket would not give...
My daughter is planning to do some work experience in Germany soon. She has to travel every day from Bonn-Bad Godesberg to Bonn Hbf and then get a bus to the GPs surgery in a village where she is going to work. Do DB do a plus bus ticket and can you but a weekly or should she just buy daily...
What is wrong with Braunton as I believe she is now unavailable for the trip to the coast next week.? Strangely the owners advertised her use on this train only a couple of hours before I received an email about the trip being cancelled.
I am trying to find a resource which shows where locomotives have been based since they were preserved. I am not interested in short term loans, so anything over a six month period. Can anybody help?
Would somebody please tell me how many trains arrive and depart from this station between the hours of 2200-0700 during the current timetable period.and with what frequency? I would also be interested to know what classes are used during this period and are they all predominately diesel?
A...
The Royal Navy often used to attack coastal sections of the Italian railway system with surface action from submarines. Does anybody have any information showing which part of the route network was susceptible to such attacks, where attacks took place and what trains were attacked ?
The Regia Marina operated a number of armoured trains. Were any of them attacked by submarines? RN submarines attacked a number of trains using gun action during this period, but I can find no detail of what type of trains they were.
I saw this on my local BBC news.

They would like to see direct trains to Gatwick reintroduced ,but the possibility of it happening I would guess is very remote unfortunately.
