Not the original video, but the music is the one from the 1983 version. I wonder if it has a name, or it's just a single piece of "private" music created only for that specific video.
Thank you :)
After doing some checks on the recent timetables, it seems Southern no longer serve the Guildford lines. Any reason why? Was this due to the Pandemic, or something to do with the franchise?
if anyone has info about this, it would be appreciated.
Not sure if there's a thread on this already, haven't used this forum in a while!
I'm going to rank 5 of my favourite TS2017 trains, then rank my least favourites.
TOP 5:
Class 91 (With AP) - Superb quality all round.
Class 175 - Excellent acceleration for a DMU, and good sounds.
Class...
Here are some Ideas for Services from Victoria and Waterloo.
I UNDERSTAND THESE AREN'T EXACTLY REALISTIC AS THEY WOULD MOST LIKELY CAUSE A LOT OF CONGESTION.
But they're ideas. :3
Southern Service to Horsham.
Calling at:
Clapham Junction, Balham, Selhurst, East Croydon, Purley, Coulsdon...
Of course there are many places now where they are the same speed such as Wandsworth Common, Battersea Park, Queenstown Road etc. But they are in london.
Luckily I surprisingly am adament I know an area of the southern network where I believe the Slow lines have a higher speed limit than...
What stations has the highest Pass:Stop ratio?
Not sure if there's a thread about this already, if there is, feel free to link or delete this.
What I mean by Pass:Stop ration is for example.
For every hour, 10 trains pass through the station without stopping while only two call...
Hi, Haven't been on here for a while, nice to be back :)
Just wanted to ask a quick question; What's the Steepest Gradient in the UK's rail network? I doubt it'll be any more than 20 degrees, though that could be higher. I have no clue what it could be myself since I havent been out for ages...
BoxHill
I've been watching some videos of Boxhill station, including being there myself, and just wondered why trains passing through A LOT SLOWER (non-stopping) on the southbound (towards dorking) go a good 20mph slower, I'd say about 40mph, whilst northbound (towards Epsom) go through at...
I was just wondering where there are any parts of the railway lines (I'm looking mostly at metro parts/surburban lines) that are either too slow, even at a level track and only just a slight curve (even straight), or the speed limit is too high, maybe the track's a bit bumpy at 75mph between...
I've been hearing that due to this govia (name right?) franchise Southern, FCC and WAGN will be merging. Will this mean a new livery for southern trains? I mean the 365s are already been refurbished/repainted. WHat about 377s, 455s, 171s 317s and 321s? Will they be refurbished/repainted or just...
SOrry if I'm always on this part of the railway xD
About this:
I've posted many videos on YouTube of through-trains at Sutton, however all of them are on the depot services, a class 455 not stopping at sutton at 19:02 usually I record.

Has anyone seen this before?
The closest i've seen is a 377/3 connected to a 377/2 (7 car unit)
* Anyone seen/knows any services with a 377/6 or 377/7 coupled to a 377/1/2/3/4 before?
(Any for 377/5 coupled to a 377/3?)
I'm talking about sharp turns/corners.
The sharpest curve I know of from my own journeys is just outside Battersea, where the Freight usually stands, has no 3rd rail.
I'm guessing the sharpest curves are not 3rd rail. If this is right can someone tell me why this is?
My grandmother lives up in Newcastle and was mentioning about a historical Penshaw station, does anyone have information or know about Penshaw?
Any pictures?
Anyone also know about Fence Houses or Houghton-le-spring?
(I S T H I S I N E N G L I S H ?)
I was at Sutton waiting for the 0753 to london victoria, and it came to me that a SUNDAY TRAIN TO EPSOM DOWNS was coming in but using the junctions on the carshalton (main) line instead of the Beeches way, why was it using this junction, I thought it was disused from when the Bognor regis...
I thought of my own livery on some trains, but it would be just a plain Green and black/blue door livery, or a London General livery!
My impression of a london General livery:
SORRY IF THESE IMAGES ARE TOO BIG, IF A MODERATOR CAN RESIZE THEM, THAT WOULD BE BRILLIANT, THANKS.
My own...
As far as ive seen, heaton chapel has Virgin, CC, Northern, TPE, EMT, and ATR. 6 toc that pass through or stop.
But clapham junction is the busiest in the uk but only has 3 tocs stopping.
Are there any stations with 6 or more train companies using/passing station? Ignore big ones like...
I was just looking through the eerie section of Wikipedia, going through the disused railways. And I came across one of them that freaked me out.
Evercreech Junction

Post a picture of an abandoned station that looks really 'freaky' or 'eerie' if...
I remember seeing at Ilford a month back a 16 car 321 that was coupled,
Has anyone seen 16 car formations on a public (normal service)?
If in different terms, anyone seen a 12 car 220/221/222 or 15 car 444?
Tell us where you saw it (station or name of place) and if you can, post a picture of video.
