Off peak NR ticket before 0930 from TfL station/service

This is the case, yes. The tube services between West Ruislip and South Ruislip are encoded as fixed links in the data, which means there is no timetable for these services and they are instead fixed travel times for what are expected to be frequent services. These cannot convey time...

Project Oval: TfL win DfT contract to expand contactless system to 233 rail stations by May 2024, Railcards coming to contactless payment cards

A cross-London journey has no travel time restrictions. The same also applies to tickets to London Underground zones, too. They are all treated as "anytime" for this portion. You could use a Off-Peak ticket restricted in the mornings to cross London at 7am if you'd like, but you can't make your...

Cross-operator ticket acceptance announced (excluding East Midlands Railway, OAOs) when services are cancelled

There is no policy! Yes, it's still ad-hoc acceptance. Generally, I find TfL acceptance does not exist for widespread issues (e.g. strike action, or easements in place due to non-rail disruption such as the flight issues caused by ATC failure a few weeks ago), but for more "localised" issues...

Weymouth to Welwyn Garden City advance single

I don't see why it would be, and can't get itineraries for it from GTR. Are you willing to share your travel date? It may be an easement applying where it shouldn't do, for example. Of course, if you get an itinerary against your ticket, you are entitled -- and in the case of an advance...

Uber/Omio refusing refund after Victoria Line suspension

Given any business can freely choose who to do business with, I don't see how this could ever be the case

    Merseyrail Tap & Go

My goodness, that's a ridiculous number of signs around the Merseyrail one. Someone just needs to take 90% of those down and just put a big "Merseyrail pay-as-you-go validator ->" sign there instead rather than that mess. Move the other signs to somewhere else.

    CrossCountry, Delay Repay processing times

I always claim against the first company who causes the minimum connection time against the scheduled journey to be breached, so would claim against TfW in this instance.

Cross-operator ticket acceptance announced (excluding East Midlands Railway, OAOs) when services are cancelled

Yes I doubt it, given the systems won't be accounting for this (yet).

Day Travelcards from Brighton on ITSO

Will you shoot me down if I simply suggest buying it from a ticket machine? There's plenty of them at Brighton (until GTR start turning some off like they've done in some other places!), all with ITSO smartcard readers and I've never seen them all in use. You should be able to do it in under a...

Getting a CCST ticket instead of PRT ticket for Rover?

FYI, there's a forum thread dedicated to this new user interface, including its many "quirks": https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/s-b-discover-the-gds-design-system-new-tvm-prototype.251942/

    Trainline selling misleading tickets

I didn't even think the claimed figure was that massive in the grand scheme of fare evasion, quite frankly.

Avanti advance fares showing up in forum and not own site

Does that apply to TOC retail?

Avanti advance fares showing up in forum and not own site

I appreciate that it might appear this way, but it will be another issue which results in symptoms which primarily negatively affect journeys with a change of train, rather than the change of train itself being the issue, but I appreciate it's a bit of pedantry that isn't particularly relevant.

Avanti advance fares showing up in forum and not own site

This isn't true, but there are many issues with the Avanti site.

Cross-operator ticket acceptance announced (excluding East Midlands Railway, OAOs) when services are cancelled

But the definition of reasonable depends on what has happened, too. If it's a Northern strike day, then I'd call 4 reasonable and potentially 5 as well, because they'd be avoiding the busiest and possible overcrowded alternative, which would probably be Carlisle - Manchester - Leeds, and 5...

London Z1-6 travelcard - Arrangements for metropolitan line stations Z7-9?

There are also platform validators on the Chiltern platforms near the subway, which makes it straightforward to get off the train, tap a card, and jump straight back on again. I think the middle coach of a Chiltern service best for this?

Faversham to LHR - can’t buy the route I want

Consider the forum's site instead, which will also happily sell you tickets for the journey you'd like (including some splits which will save money versus the ticket to Heathrow Rail/a Travelcard itself)...

Split ticket validity on service that runs fast through intermediate station

If the train was scheduled to call, but did not due to disruption, I cannot see how any staff could object to using your original split tickets in this way. I have never had an issue in these circumstances. The new automatic ticket acceptance across most TOCs will cover this, with you not...

Delay Repay limited to just one leg of a Return?

They do, because they use the same delay repay supplier.
