    West Highland delays

There were engineering works on the WCML. The planning error was that they'd disconnected the points at Wembley yard, trapping the stock in the depot.

    West Highland delays

I'm not complaining, I'm going to get a fair amount of compensation, sitting in the Aberdeen first class lounge atm, getting an NXEC to Edinburgh then the Lowland back down. A short little trip, the point of which was to go to Kyle, I'm no longer going to Kyle, but a nice little time waste...

    West Highland delays

They'd ran out of refund forms in Inverness  They gave us the old forms on-board, which we were told to fill out, give to the train crew, who would pass to their managers who would contact us directly regarding compensation, or we could wait till we get home and go the normal way. Have...

    West Highland delays

    LU1938TS Special Trip

It didn't have to be turned in the Kennington loop, it went around there as it isn't normally used for passengers - it was a nice little extra. However, having done it, it is now the wrong way around, so I believe the opportunity is simply being taken to turn it round again.

    LU1938TS Special Trip

No problem, also don't forget Upminster depot is open itself tomorrow and Sunday to the public :) For the benefit of anyone who's interested, the train is being turned at High Street Kensington as the unit ended up the wrong way round after the Northern line railtour when it went around the...

    LU1938TS Special Trip

Following the Upminster Open Weekend, the 1938 stock needs to travel back to Acton Town. The LT museum are running it in service from Upminster to Eailing Broadway, via High Street Kensington (reverse). http://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/whatson/121.aspx Hopefully I'll be stewarding on this...

Any open days at Underground depot's this year ?

Acton is, as far as I recall, a yearly event. Actual depot open days are quite unusual, I believe Upminster are using the fact theres a possession to their advantage!

    Train spotter sparks terrorist alert

I don't think a member of staff can order you to delete photos... nothing in the byelaws that I know of says that a member of staff can ask you to do so... At the end of the day, when the byelaws say you can take photos, and the only restrictions are laws not byelaws, (such as harassment of...

Lamping a Signal In a Storm

Nice one ;). Shame they won't let a signalman climb a pole now, yet alone an apprentice - too dangerous! ;)

    Installing Issues (Bloody Hell!!!)

Repair. This goes along and fills in the the gaps which the previous installation missed due to Windows crashing, but also re-installs any damaged parts of the game which were installed on your system prior to the crash. EDIT Sorry, re-read and noticed you said nothing does anything. Try...

    graffiti 'artists'

The problem with TOX is that he has copycats ;) In short, there is no way of stopping people using this website for information relating to their intentions of vandalising equipment. It's a free, public website, viewable without registering... so there's nothing you can do.

Can anyone recommend some great Tube rides?

    Waltham Cross to Templecombe

Another suggestion is to purchase an advance ticket from Waterloo, as previously advised, and a Zones 1-6 Travelcard. Although Waltham Cross Rail Station is outside of Zone 6, the bus station is not! A short walk to the bus station, and there is a 15 minute service on route 491 (towards North...

    London Underground/National Conditions of Carriage

After being stuck in the Rugby over-run a couple of Christmas' ago, upon arriving in London near 4 hours late, Virgin staff were on the platform at almost every door handing out refund forms. We were directed to the taxi rank, where we queued, and there was a member of VT staff at the front...

    Class313

Whether or not it is the same person using two accounts, the names 'class 313' and 'Class313' are different due to the space, (and, possibly, the capitalization), therefore what are seemingly the same name are seen as different by the system.
