I’m surprised you managed to find one. I visited WhSmith’s and Sainsburys near Stockport station today and they didn’t have any. Later on in Piccadilly they didn’t have any at Sainsburys or Co-Op, neither did a Sainsburys down the road have one. However the WhSmiths did have one copy of the...

About 20% extra, a normal sausage roll is £1.20 but at the Manchester Airport Greggs it’s £1.45. Even if it’s inflated, I still go to Greggs at the airport as it’s still cheaper than all the other places.

Ah! I did have a look earlier as they usually do one round this time of year and it still showed last years dates, looks like I was a few hours early.

Oh yes, when I did that train I was the only one on it until Helsby.

Yep, Northwich to Manchester is £4.00 each way when booked early enough in advance. The rail sale discounts this to..... £3.80 each way. An amazing 5% saving

There’s also plenty above the price of super off peak. For example: This train is £95.80 for a 70 min flex single. Previously would’ve been a super off peak train.

It ends on Friday evening (19th Jan)

I love how it's virtually available on all trains on all routes, makes the Northern sale seem a bit rubbish. I'm sure you can get around the "one transaction/8 tickets per account" rule by creating a new account with a different email and buying using a different card.

PRIV also includes some family members of railway workers who might not know that

Not sure if this has already been brought up; sorry I don't have time to read all 8 pages of this thread so far, but: This also impacts customers who make an honest mistake with their ticket. Or those who may have been booked on Lumo/Grand Central/Hull Trains etc. but decide to take LNER due to...

You guys can have D&G then, I would love to have someone like First round here.

Right, who bought a ticket from Ince & Elton to (I assume) Sanquhar? Two very random stations!

What use is this sale if it is only available in one direction? This is the same with Altrincham to Cuddington. Meanwhile millions of tickets available from Piccadilly to Cuddington. I tweeted them about it and of course, got fobbed off with "not being available on all routes/services"

Yes, you can buy a further train ticket

Does anyone else find easyJet seat selection price to fluctuate wildly? I am going to Belfast soon, and the return flight is on an A319, usually I get an extra legroom seat as your knees get crushed in a normal seat. At the time of booking, the seat selection price was £2.99 for rows 12-26, or...

Yeah, that's what I thought. I have no faith in them though, I currently have another case going through the Rail Ombudsman from 4 months ago.

On the 12th of November I made a journey from Holmes Chapel to Doncaster and back. The tickets I had were: an Off Peak Day Return (Holmes Chapel-Chelford) and Off Peak Return (Chelford-Doncaster). Due to engineering works I had to travel via Leeds. The outbound journey was on time but the...

Not sure how often that £5.70 fare is available, but the cheapest one I've found is Crewe to Carlisle, £9.00 each way, or £5.90 with a railcard. You can usually find this fare on Saturdays on the 07:54 from Crewe to Carlisle, coming back on the 18:46 or 19:49 from Carlisle to Crewe. Edit: just...

Currently the Manchester - Crewe services have 5 diagrams, 3x 323s and 2x 331s. With the 331s moving round the network & needing to now cover for the 319s & more 323s coming from WMR, does this mean that Manchester - Crewe services may move to being fully 323? If so then that would be a great...
