When I use a Greater Manchester Wayfarer, the bee network drivers have no idea what it is. So I don’t think franchising will change anything.

Haha, just got a reply from GTR customer services saying they don’t know, and to ask Southeastern because I used their ticket machine

Yeah same here

Yes, you can get two from the same day! This is what I usually do

I’ve bought them from Crewe and Manchester Airport, and they didn’t bat an eyelid

The other day I did a Southern DaySave Group ticket with 3 other people (so 4 in total) for a total price of £50.00. We bought it on the Southern website and collected it from a Southeastern ticket machine at Victoria (we were in a rush, and we just followed the signs for "ticket machines"...

COVID temporary timetables etc. put an end to this, now it has 1tph in each direction every day. Even though...

For some reason, the first southbound Manchester Piccadilly-Crewe Northern Stopper on a Sunday doesn't stop at Holmes Chapel.

Make that 3 in a row with the 16:16, 17:16 and 18:16 from Crewe. Southbound via Stockport, the 15:06, 16:06 and 17:06 from Piccadilly are cancelled, these are the outbound services that then form the return services above. (the 15:36 and 16:36 are calling additionally at Goostrey and Chelford...
