Travelled with Northern. 2 tickets on the split train didn't call at changeover point bought one was a zonal ticket so permitted combination. Train cancelled so traveled on the next service. Arrived at destination just over 15 minutes late. Claimed delay repay. Received email saying...

On Friday I posted 2 letters from Liverpool, one to Blackpool and the other to Doncaster. I attached a regular first class stamp. On reflection, due to a small enclosure, I think this may have been a large letter. Given I attached a first class stamp with a value of £1.80 will Royal Mail by...

I am a great believer in getting maximum value from Tesco Clubcard points. So that means never spending them in store at face value and always doubling them up to a rewards partner I would be making a purchase from anyway. I have been using my points to purchase a Railcard the past few years...

Total shambles of a service on the Liverpool to Llandudno service today. 2 cars on many trains. Passengers left behind at intermediate stations between Chester and Rhyl, bearing in mind there is only one journey opportunity an hour to stations like Abergele. The direct Liverpool service is not...

I travel with my concessionary travel pass, which is valid to the last station in the county (Merseyside), and will purchase a ticket for the remainder of the journey. Example: Pass: Liverpool to Newton-le-Wilows Ticket: Newton-le-Wilows to Manchester Usually I have my ticket for the remainder...

Does Transport for Wales delay repay apply if a train is so busy you are unable to board? On their online delay repay form there is a "too busy to board" option followed by the words "advance ticket only." I have selected this and submitted a claim. I was using a combination of an Anytime Day...

I have an advance ticket booked on the TPE website. The fulfillment method is TOD. Travel is on Saturday. Is it still possible for me to change this fee free this close to travel? Would I have to book another ticket then submit a refund request? Does the TOC need to stay the same? Northern...

Simple question, is Merseyrail running a 15 minute service on this bank holiday today 4 May or is it a Sunday timetable? I've been caught out by this before you see.

Is it free to change an Advance ticket booked on the Avanti website?

I had a WhatsApp message from a friend who's on an Avanti service. He's sat in standard premium by mistake not realised it was even a thing. When his ticket was checked he apologised and offered to go and sit in standard. The Train Manager still insisted that he paid an upgrade. He texted me...

I got off a Preston to Liverpool X2 service today on Liverpool Road in Hoole. On the opposite side of the road, the direction going back TOWARDS Preston the stop has an old timetable for the old hourly X2, the stop in that direction doesn't come up on the Stagecoach app or site, it is not listed...

A friend of mine has has said would I like to do a trip 28/29 Dec to 3 Jan somewhere. We are flexible on destination. Initially we were thinking Spain for some sun. I've looked at flights out of Liverpool and Manchester to Alicante and Malaga and this is coming out at £300 return. I've looked...

Can someone confirm when this train was pulled from the timetable or cancelled? Avanti are saying they cannot find a timetabled journey and declining my delay repay claim. https://www.recenttraintimes.co.uk/Home/Service?ServiceId=139268418

Are trains limited on the South Coast of Spain. Was thinking of flying into somewhere like and travelling across but the map.on seat 61 suggests the coastal service is limited. Thanks.

A friend of mine has suggested an overnight trip to York between now and Christmas. It's a place I've not really spent much time. I'd be grateful on any recommendations for accommodation, things to do and places to eat. Ideally we don't want the accommodation to break the bank but for it to be...

I turned up for this train but it was not even on the departure board. https://www.brtimes.com/!train?uid=S62409

Disabled Railcard: does ticket of companion have to be identical to Railcard user? I'm travelling from Liverpool to Crewe tomorrow. However my pass covers me to Liverpool South Parkway. So could we use 1 off peak day return Liverpool Lime Street to Crewe and 1 off peak day return Liverpool...

Am I likely to have problems claiming dealy repay with Northern on a complimentary ticket. On the return journey the last Northern leg was cancelled. The next service was an hour later and arrived in Liverpool 57 minutes late. However my Uncle who live near St Helens Central had invited me for...

Are Northern Only tickets via Cumbrian Coast still valid via WCML on Avanti and TPE with the line still being closed?
