Rumour from Northern towers is that 150134 will be entering service with the 52 car of 150225 which was damaged in the accident at Knarsbourgh. The 57 car is going away to works and will apparently be away for 6-8 weeks. Looks like someone using noggin at Northern!

Northern give travel tickets for other operators if your route from Home Depot to the training school is more efficient on another operator.

The way I read things there are 2 x 319s coming off the shed. One for the 0600 WGN and one for the 0616 MIA. So that's two diagrams covered by 319s all day Saturday.

Gen is first 319 Liverpool - Wigan service will be 0600 LIV - WGN and 0703 WGN -LIV return this Saturday. The unit will then form the 0816 LIV- MIA and work that circuit for the rest of the day. It's a start folks!

I can answer some of your questions with a degree of certainty as I currently work with one of the electrification managers for Northern. 1. Not yet applied for. Hence the reason MCV will not be going live in May. MENTOR and then a unit test over all lines needs to happen before ORR...

LIV-MCV services will not go electric till later in the year. Not sure it will be as long as December though. Remember some of the many 319s at Allerton are unfinished internally and are not ready for service.

319362 was working the short diagram today (eg 0716/1416/1713) . It was taken at 1045 from Lime Street as 5T01 and returned from Piccadilly at 1227 to Lime Street as 5T02 to resume its diagram. It was carrying it's new nameplate (albeit covered with card) on the 0716 this morning.
