Have you seen the video, possibly on the last day of the Deltics, A chap had his head out of one the first drop windows on the off side, seemingly for the whole trip wearing a white crash helmet. There are various shots of him as the journey progresses and he's in every shot.

I walk with a stick and its a long walk from the rear of a Pendolino arriving at London Euston to the Met/Circle line platforms at Euston Square. I wonder if many people walk from Warren Street Underground to access Euston Square rather than staying on to alight at Euston Underground.

Is platform 15 at Amsterdam the one furthest from the main frontage, where the trams arrive and depart?. I boarded a train going through to Germany as far as Osnaburg and I think that was 15. It was a long walk under the platforms into the tiniest lift up to platform level.
