They is no night buses in Sheffield any more. Stagecoach withdrew all the services a couple of months back since no one was using them, but then if people dont know they exist how can they use them.

I dont think resignalling could ever help Sheffield. Only way Sheffield could ever stop being a bottleneck would be adding extra track in the north throat but this is never likely to happen due to the crazy amount of money it would cost to make the tunnels and such wider.

But I would still have to pay the relevant price between Woodhouse and Retford? due to it being off the route?

Just had a quick glance and under other cities it mentions scope for lengthening diesel units, which to me says they not going to do the infills to Doncaster/Moorthorpe from Sheffield.

Its not the station its self this was improved towards the end of Midland Mainline. It mentions new track layout and additional platforms at Sheffield.

I guess they Would go via Pontefract and Moorthorpe from York. The weather has not been that bad really just heavy showers now and again, we are meant to be getting a months rain tomorrow though so it could be chaos.
