Thanks for all the help guys will order my card in a mo from the website and add the railcard when i arrive into London.

Would it be much quicker to get the card online and pop to the the ticket office on arrival to add my railcard? Also how long do oyster cards last before they expire?

That makes more sense to me i think. really would be just 2 days train back is at 10. i guess to save cost i could use my Bus pass to get around before 9.30am then be fine to use zone 1-4 for both days, i am guessing this would not affect which train or tube i got to Charlton and Wembley time wise?

for the info I have posted should i be worried about the peak and off peak times for what i want to do? eg jumping on a tube at say 7 or 8 to go and grab some breakfast and same for heading to Wembley say around 5.30?
