I want to travel to London from Huddersfield, but I'd like to go down via Manchester and back via Leeds, (so I can try out East Coast trains.) but they're not available as off peak as far as I can find, is there any way round this?

I hope they do it then. As for the length of Kirkham Station, from another poster, sorry I forgot how long each were. :roll: I can't see Poulton or Kirkham being extended then, probably not enough justification for it.

Would make my day if they did and it would certainly be used by more than just me, I'm pretty sure Kirkham could handle a pendolino too, lengthwise. Anyways I can dream, thanks.

According to what I had heard though ticket purchases from Layton to Blackpool North have gone up. :wink:

I have a brief question and would like to keep this tasteful and short. The yellow lines on the platform edge, as a passenger seeing an approaching train I have ignored them and stood close to the edge in order to get to the doors just out of habit. Does this kind of behaviour worry drivers...
