Way I see it as, they have five they could use, so yeah enough to cover I think.
Red Revolution
Virgin Scot
Virgin Queen
Virgin Hope
Virgin Valiant
All the others that are spare might not be suitable in my opinion.
Virgin Atlantic
Heaven's Angels
Virgin Sun (The airline doesn't...
Thanks all, I did search but endded up with a wall of every post mentioning pendolinos or the ecml and eurostar.
Wondering what they're likely to call her if she goes in to service with Virgin... Any ideas?
Well this is their home page as of now, looks like a poster for a disaster film. It's obviously been done up in photoshop.
I think they've taken it too far, personally.
Anyways back to the reactor, Strange6 is this likely to do something similar to Three mile island? And how likely is it...
No, mostly because where I want to go isn't really easy to fly to.
As for the other questions... I think by the time they've built it, it will likely be more expensive than planned and after ten years in operation will probably be:
A. Not used enough to make enough money back
B. Overcrowded...
Seen a lot said, I wondered a few things.
How did it get to the uk? I've only seen videos of it with a 66, obviously it couldn't have gone through the chunnel with that so how did it get past the channel? Any pictures?
Thanks
Hmm fc was always at the Leeds end of Huddersfield but now it isn't as often.
I might just be getting on weird sets.
I always try to get to the section next to first class because it's quieter.
As a student this service would tempt me and the fact that they've realised (unlike most other services aimed at students) that some students don't want 24/7 parties means this is great.
This through the channel tunnel to places in Europe would be perfect, like nightstar services would have...
I agree and I think Virgin have shown this works well, now other TOC's could learn off that, wonder if it'll happen, certainly not on Northern I wouldn't think.
Maybe if there was some station on each route where cleaners were stationed if could work.
I have to admit that in Preston the trolly does just get off but surely the bag could be attached to the trolly as it's taken off. Though this is the 20:10 service to Manchester Airport, I don't have the 185 diagrams and so I don't know if this then goes to Scotland, maybe someone else does, had...
Having said that though, almost without fail the TPE service I get on each Sunday from Preston has bags of rubbish left on it by the trolly (person? Don't know their title), anyhoo, it's just left there in the section between the cab and first class.
It really annoys me too because it is left...
Is there any timetabling for frieght trains?
Or do they just run as needed?
I ask because I've seen roughly the same EWS train atleast twice at the same time through Huddersfield but not always.
I did my trip to London today,
Huddersfield to Wakefield to London Kings Cross
and returning by
Euston to Manchester Piccadily to Huddersfield
I encountered a problem, at Manchester I arrived just before 7pm with a super off peak ticket (Thanks Virgin ;) for helping students) and asked the...
Well I have to admit Kirkham has all the shops that Wesham doesn't.
Interestingly the railway line isn't the boundary between the two, infact the whole station is technically in Wesham, track and all.
There is a brook on the south side of the line and this is the historic boundary.
As for...
I think it's a battle I'm not going to win, even Blackpool people say it wrong, my ex from Blackpool used to say it wrong all the time as did my cousin who works for TPE.
Then again I've met people from Lytham who've never even heard of Wesham!
