    X43 Poole - Weymouth starts 27th July

It would be impossible to fit all that in the time available. Why not take the 501 open-topper to Portland Bill? Details on the Weymouth Transport page of http://dorset-transport.info

    X43 Poole - Weymouth starts 27th July

If it follows the previous X43 pattern the bus will be either a Spectra or Volvo B7 with East Lancs school body in yellow. It is being run commercially this year for the first time so Damory have judged they will make more money running from Poole instead of Swanage...

    HST to Weymouth on Saturdays

The HST ran on two occasions to/from Weymouth during the Olympics. It was a relief to the last Weymouth-Bristol but everyone got on the service train, so it remained on standby after that. Photo attached of the down HST at Dorchester West on 29 July 2012.

    Accommodation suggestions and reviews

I have a lot of experience of Trip Advisor, having been in the hospitality industry myself. We didn't receive a number 1 rating on TA without a lot of hard work and attention to detail. A warm welcome, first-class facilities, comfortable, quality bedding and absolute cleanliness don't just...

You were either very lucky or blinkered. The Britannia has more TERRIBLE reviews on TA than VERY GOOD and EXCELLENT added together! The Britannia group generally have relatively low ratings compared to other UK chains. We certainly wouldn't include it in our directory.

Anyone else finding it hard to find affordable accommodation?

Always try staying a few stations out of large towns and cities. There are several B&Bs in our directory that only charge around £30 for a single: http://station-stays.co.uk

Trains to Weymouth Quay? (probably not)

There's a 6G27 showing from Eastleigh Yard to Weymouth Quay on Wednesday 30 October arriving at 15.50, hauled by class 73. Anyone know anything about it as I doubt the Weymouth Quay Tramway is passable?
