I understand the B7RLEs will operate on service 2 to Littlemoor, according to their press release. The Trident might be one of two transferred from Bristol for the 387 service and usually outstationed at Poole.

Apologies. I was thinking of CSV. As you say, CSF is a more recent transfer. There must be more low-floor double-deckers coming, at least for the period of the Olympics. A press release from First Dorset says that all single-deck buses on service 1 to Portland will be replaced with low-floor...

Those fares are correct at present, but will increase from 20 May.

Extended area doesn't start until 20 May. Price will be increased slightly. National Rail website has been showing new area incorrectly for a long time.

Dorset County Council still produce 3 excellent free timetable booklets covering the whole county, except the Poole/Bournemouth conurbation. They're also available to download. In addition First have produced free timetable booklets for the Dorset area and another for South Somerset (Yeovil).

Most conductors don't ask to see it if you purchased your ticket at a booking office, but if you have a ticket purchased from a machine, they will usually want to see your card.
