A large HST speed limit sign has appeared at Ashurst (New Forest). HSTs haven't run through there for many years. Are Arriva X-Country planning to run HSTs through to Weymouth during the Olympics?
Devon Day Ranger is £10 with discounts for some railcard holders. Devon Evening Ranger is £5. They offer excellent value for money and haven't increased in price for a few years.
I hear rumours that the price will be increased soon.

Diesel was on the front at Eastleigh, but by the time it passed through the New Forest Tornado was on its own. I believe the situation was linked to the change of water stop from Winchfield to Woking.

And before you say "What about the extras?" At that time Ryanair didn't charge extras, nor did they charge taxes or credit card charge. My credit card account showed a total of 4p! Beat that!
