Are northern moving away with the through services from the calder valley line to the york/selby line? Seems on the new timetable that a lot of the services from york/selby terminate at leeds! does this mean more use of platforms 7 and 14 at leeds? timetable

I did this a few weeks ago. It was nearly £100 cheaper to go from Leeds to Glasgow via the S & C and even with a twenty min connection at carlise was still 12 mins quicker
