Asda and m &s part fund the 14 from Leeds and 714 from Bradford to the owlcotes centre. They are removing the subsidy So the 14 is reducing to only a couple of services a day extending from pudsey to the owlcotes centre and the 714 is going altogether.
I've always found Megabus to be quicker from Leeds to London than national express. Normally only stop at Meadowhall interchange and then a driver swap at a services whenever I been on one
They launching express services in July on coastliner but the buses will be from York depot rather than Malton so wonder if this will be the new home for the ex cityzap buses
The 86 in Leeds is shown in the timetable to have a timing point at holbeck police station. This closed years ago and was demolished and a aldi and Fulton foods now occupy the site.
They saying that they reducing price to compensate for having to change buses along the route. Makes sense as they not the nearest high schools to pateley bridge so people are choosing to travel further and if they aren't enough to make it viable for a dedicated bus it's cost effective. Always...

It's only certain times it calls at both. On Thursday my train which was an ilkley service called at kirkstall. As far as I'm aware the Bradford service just provides some extra calls during the rush hour
I went on the recent trip to Meadowhall. Was a good service. I just imagine that as they ran it on fathers days most people had made plans with their dad. It's not really a dad destination after all
It's rare for tickets to be checked In the Leeds area in my experience. Even during daytime numerous guards just stay in their cabs between stations. On journeys into Leeds the often only come through train as it's approaching Leeds but not to check tickets but offering to sell tickets to anyone...
