Freedom passes have been blocked before 0930 but I have continued using mine and have been stopped. I've been commuting to work on it and last month I was caught by a ticket inspector.
I gave over my personal details as asked by the inspector and was told that that I would be receiving a...
I took a train from East Croydon to Kensington Olympia. On the way there when changing at Clapham I touched the pink reader. I was charged a total of £3.30.
On my return journey I seemed to have touched the wrong reader when changing trains as you can see in the screenshot.
I submitted a...
Unfortunately GTR has announced there will be no trains to Brighton. I have a commitment at the festival so looking for alternatives.
Unfortunately there's no National Express coaches that day. So I could get the train to Three Bridges and local buses from there maybe?
How much more would I have to pay if the current off-peak travelcard is £19.45 (with a network railcard)? The Lewes - Victoria off-peak return is £14.85, plus tube return is £5.40, totaling £20.25.
How will this affect me? If I'm going for a day out in London from Lewes I buy an off-peak travelcard (Lewes to Zones 1-6 for £26.95). What do I do now?
TFL route 433 seems to have 3 different buses running it: Caetano City Gold, Alexander Dennis Enviro200 and Alexander Dennis Enviro200 MMC.
Does anyone know the passenger capacity for each as I'm worried the newer Caetano City Gold has less then the older buses?
I've been travelling a few times on Cuckmere Buses. According to the Gov website they participate in the £2 fare scheme. But I just realized been charged £4.20 for each journey. Are they in the wrong?
That's insane. What happens if a family miss their flight? This really puts people off travelling to the UK. If you can't even get a bus to the airport from your hotel!
My family and I decided the best way to get for our morning flight was taking the X26 at 0517 from East Croydon. We all thought it'll be empty at that time in the morning with plenty of room to put a carry-on next to each of us on a pair of seats.
But we where shocked and horrified when the bus...
I had this problem at Earlswood. I tweeted Southern who told me to buy a ticket on their app which I couldn't as the train was too near time of departure. So I bought a ticket for the next train and got on the one I was waiting for. At East Croydon I just showed my purchase at the ticket counter...
