    I thought i should post here instead of like creating a new thread but. Its concerning PLatforms 1 and 2; How long have platforms 1 and 2 been out of use? I remember platform 2 having postal trains when i was younger (early 1990s)! Im guessing they been out of use from passengers since 70s?

    Its a shame they arent ordering a compulsry order on the old Tavsitock North Station. Is there a reason why? Trackbed built on? Im guessing the new station would be a single platform newly built station? Which would be a shame as it would lack character.

    Shillamill tunnel and viaduct are beautiful structures, its a shame they ahve been forgotten about. Hidden Gems. Would be fantastic to seem them restored and reused! Could the opening of Tavistock lead to the Closure of Gunnislake and Calstock though?

    I am little confused at High Speed..... Is the High Speed 2 a completely newly build railway line? Or is it using existing lines? Would the HS2 track be only used by High speed trains? For example a normal non HS2 service could enter the track for part of its journey?

    Is there any update on this yet? I heard someone on train yesterday say "Next year we will be able to go striaght through to Tavistock on the train, as they building a new rail line there" I mean seriously doubt that, but good to see people know about such things.

    Went there yesterday. Work seems to have randomly stopped. No new toliets No new departure boards No improvements bar the extention of the front. Thoose screens need to go fast, had help old woman fidn her train as she couldnt see what it said, neither could i for part of it. Blurry and faded.
