From 16th to 22nd between plymouth/liskared and gunnislake there is engineering works. Does anyone know what they are doing? Must be something extensive for a week. Can't see, to find any info on any official websites, merely detailing service changes.

Would there be any sort of data to indicate what the most travelled route between two stations is, which do not have a direct rail service.
I.e I traveled between Paignton and plymouth and was told they see many tickets between the two.
So it had me thinking what is the most travelled route...
I was thinking that all stations on the network should have uniform designs when it comes to station signage. Was in camberley a few weeks back, and the station and surrounding stations had a simple blue with white font and a white line below. Was very smart.
All the network should follow this...

Is the future of our railways in the form of tram-trains. I mean for example we have lost the oldham loop to trams. We will be shortly losing Sheffield to Rotherham to tram trains. Is this sort of rail format the future?
Do we envisage the future as heavy rail trunk routes with branch lines...
Looks like national express are ****ed off and looking to reclaim there money. All four are mad apparently could mean they don't bid for the franchise again.

Building out the up platform is rather a stupid idea for me, don't like it it's complicated and stupid in my view especially for passengers. The picturesque image of Bere Alston would be ruined if they did bring such an awful idea to fruition. So hope they don't do that.
