Interesting that great western hasn't been extended. Guessing first couldn't agree terms with dft over the extension they offered, that was mentioned a few weeks back.
Really enjoyed the Scotland episode, just had a little bit of everything in it. The contrast between the highlands and Glasgow/Edinburgh etc.
Norfolk, south west and south were all absent from the series though. I'm hoping for a second series that can focus more on these areas too.

I would like to see Exeter and plymouth electrified, and possibly a new dawlish avoiding fast direct line between Exeter and plymouth.
However I am living in a dream world with those expectations :). I expect the south west will be shunned again.

Good episode, loved the ebbw valley reopening bit, wish we saw more of that. The merseyrail was interesting as I have never and prob will never use it so was good to have a look into the network. However the episode was bit packed, should have just focused on ebbw vale and merseyrail. Leaving...

A yes forgot about Bere ferres, very charming as well, love the quirky things like the still intact siding. It's obviously been kept well by people who care about the station.
