    My interest in railways is limited, only a follower of the old Skool railways :wink:, Loco-hauled & all the great Victorian Architecture, so i'm a railtour - goer & volunteer for a preseved railway. If all there was in this country is the modern-day plastic buses with washing-machine engines...

    For me, i dont post often, just now & then. Main reason is that i'm a member of quite a few forums (one of which several thousand posts & a member since '03), and if i was a regular on all of them, i'd have no time left in the day! so my postings/visits is intermittent as a result.

    I meant the window you sit at. Vestibule windows are usually perma-hogged, so you dont get a look-in. And then there's the fun of standing up for a journey. Much easier when you can simply open up a window at your seat.
