That is highly illegal & against the railway convention (2007). Rules clearly state no service train is to ever exceed a length of 6 coaches, any TOC with the forward thinking & brain to run longer trains to meet demand will be penalised heavily!.

Was in Edinburgh last night & saw a group of some 200-300 people gather for a train to Berwick. Then turned up a little 4car bus & i laughed as it went, seeing all the passengers crammed in like sardines.

My Boss has on one the Saturday Nearest to 5th Nov, and usually spends in the region of £500 on fireworks.

I would agree a 56 is a good choice, as not alot seem to be getting preserved of those atm, & now is the time to get 'em, coz they're getting scrapped.

Best advice i can give is to get involved with a local preserved railway, that way you can build up some knowledge with existing groups & maybe set a group up with other like-minded individuals.
