This morning went pretty well!
That said the train I get, 0548 from Brighton, was much busier than it eve used to be. People standing from three bridges. Red hill folk must be very sad.
This shows that railway practice is counter intuitive and hence "wrong". Why not just show departure times as 30 seconds to 1 minute earlier than the point the train is due to start moving?
What happens if the tinkering solves nothing?
Will we get to the point where all the seats down one side of the trains are removed and the frequency cut in half?
It was okay for me as I caught the 0548 from Brighton. The revised service suits me as I don't have to worry about falling asleep!

Well this evening is looking very pants.
Anyone know what going on here? Actual opening hours don't match advertised and appear not to for over a year...
Is there any mechanism to enforce ticket office opening hours/ performance?
The crux of the issue is the low housing density of london. This forces long journeys to work. We need large scale compulsory purchase and redevelopment of the inner london bouroughs.
I was on preston park train. Driver apologised for situation.. Weird things people say when in shock. Driver was rescued very quickly by a colleague and walked down platform. Poor guy. Grim to say the least.
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
