Not in service, but there was that time Merseyrail kept sending more 507s and 508s to rescue a set stranded on an iced up third rail. Ended up as 508+507+508+507+508+508.
As said much earlier there is a slight technology issue. CrossCounty don't also operate in the TfL area, while GWR do. At the moment there's no inspection devices that can work with both the TfW and TfL contactless systems
It is now, but for a long time it was also P1 to much confusion. Then for a while before the signs changed it was "Platform Wirral" in the online systems.
