Sounds odd that there could be that much devastation then without another train hitting it as you'd assume that the carriages would be stationary. Looking at their site and prices it must be an incredibly luxury train!

It is! Such beautiful light inside. Liege Palais is also worth a visit, not a particularly beautiful station but impressive how it fits into the hillside. At the top of the hill is an incredible panoramic view and some fortifications with many monuments.

Both types can vary as the ink comes off paper tickets especially if it's thin to begin with. The plastic cards you get online can also fade but you have the advantage of only having one piece. I believe if it becomes illegible due to wear you can replace it for free at a station?
