How does do these delays compare with when the S8 Stock was new, when these were first delivered?

Are trains being run regularly on the closed section on test? I've not heard a single one go by (I live close to the closed section)

That's interesting! I would have thought re entering at Wembley Park onto Platform 2 would have been logical. I wonder what managements reason for not starting from Wembley was?

Yes, however, how many tph were the two platforms reversing throughout that weekend in general? On the weekend, there are usually 8tph to Uxbridge, 4tph to Watford and 2tph each to Amersham/Chesham. I am wondering if that service pattern was unchanged and the full 16tph were being reversed...

I noticed that Platforms 1 and 4 at Baker Street were being used to reverse the full Met service. Was the entire 16tph being reversed here?

A new metro fleet should follow the seating style of the s8 stock or class 345, featuring both. Allow the 707s to support longer distance work.

I would add to that, I think the 73 stock announcements are one of the best, striking the best balance between softness and clarity, giving a natural sort of tone to it. I will miss them when they are gone and I pray that the announcements on the 24 stock take inspiration and note of this.

Surely that's a simple fix, just turn down the volume of both the announcements and the door chimes. The door chimes seem to be as loud as any other stock though

That's a good one. I wonder if 72 stock to 24 stock (or equivalent of that), will be more transformational than anything. Although I guess the biggest thing about this will be the fact that people will be shocked they're finally being replaced!
