    I think most drivers do,I know I do,LNER XC Caley sleepers and freight and my fellow scotrail all get a wave.The only ones I can remember who persistently didn't wave the old BR high speed driver's,perhaps thought they were a cut above.

    The 158s main problem with snow is with the inboard disc and the cloud of disturbed snow coating the disc in water and causing the pads to aquaplane,this was sorted with a different pad.

    158 75 mph max or 10 mph below line speed ,below 50 mph no restriction. All other traction when wholly or partially fitted with disc brakes then 19 mph below line speed again no restriction below 50 mph. This is for scotrail at least 1732017530 10 mph below not 19.

    I have never seen not saying never been done a train starting from beyond the signal at Dundee.I have done it a few times with the sleeper off of Inverness.

    The 222's were and apparently are still talked about though the problem is that's there more than scotrail sniffing about them now bumping up the value of them.
