    We were told a couple of years back that DOCO was the default method of working for scotrail just the diesel traction currently holds this back.

    It was meant to done earlier this year in time for the leaf fall season just passed but that obviously slipped.Theyve probably got two leaf falls (at least) ahead of them so probably still worth doing depending who's paying.

    This has been running in the background and rumoured for sometime now,was told from a very good source early this year that this was gonna happen but no details as it was commercially sensitive as there were other interested parties.

    Not as much as having to stick a 158 in place of an hst cause they can't persuade an hst to play ball and go and do some work.

    Well going by the dates mentioned that should be enough to see me through to retirement,somehow didn't think I'd get to work the battery/electric stuff was always dubious of the previous announcements on timescale.

    The last couple of trains I've worked Edinburgh/fife have logged on no problem.
